UPDATE - The problem has been fixed. See the UNITED24media tweet that was posted 5 hours ago at the end of this OP. Btw, I noticed in the screenshot posted that United Arab Emirates, which should have been listed directly under Ukraine, was also missing from the list yesterday, at least at the time the initial screenshot was done. I still don't know whether this was a mistake/glitch or intentional.

Hey @elonmusk, it seems like it's no longer possible to have a Ukrainian number verify a Twitter account/two-factor authentication. Ukraine is not in your list of countries, see our screenshot.

It's vital for us to keep showing the world what's going on in our country.



This seems to mean that no new Ukrainian accounts can be set up. Why @elonmusk? We REALLY hope this is a mistake. But please do confirm.

Twitter broke two-factor authentication in Ukraine and stopped sending codes to Ukrainian numbers. Users with an associated number cannot log in to Twitter. I really hope this is just an unfortunate mistake by @TwitterSupport and not a new policy of your boss.
