Redistricting only happens every 10 years, and is done by the party in control. nt

Gerrymandering is one thing, redrawing to reflect new population-defined boundaries...

Redistricting happens every 10 years after the census. The next census will be in 2020.

Frankly, I was taught in school that gerrymandering districts was a practice that undermined democracy.

after an apportionment change is something else. Which is why Kucinich's district went; Ohio lost two congressional districts after the 2010 census.
