Pelosi In The House

I watched this HBO documentary last night. Recommend.

Alexandera Pelosi filmed (over 3 decades), produced and directed this “in the life of” story of the first woman speaker of the house AND the first person to be re-elected to the position after losing control in midterm elections.

Personally, I had mixed emotions. It made me feel so proud for her …and it triggered my tRump PTSD.

I am proud of her accomplishments and her will to do the work of the people and super proud of her love for children. I am so glad she was in this position during the tRump debacle admin.

Hope more come to it before then, of course.

Reminds me of tRuman. If it weren't for his big mistake with Korea, he'd be generally acknowledged as one of our greatest presidents. But the MSM groupthink of his day couldn't imagine why someone they branded as "a haberdasher" who accidentally became president was so admired by voters, and in general never changed their mind as his terms continued. Historians with the enormous benefits of hindsight and accumulated study, and not handicapped by needing to belong to the press's "in crowd," provided a very different view.

She could have lost the love of her life.

All the other crap she stood up to, but at this point going to his side and being the mama bear for her own family is understandable.

HOW can people be so cruel?

Politics should be like sports. Make the rules. Follow the rules.

Win or lose. Prepare for the next election and deal with your own issues.

Cheaters get thrown out and aren't allowed back into the game.

Made a doc that is both personal and historic. I admire Nancy even more after seeing it. And I skipped throgh the parts featuring the orange anus.
