According to Deadline, the talks to purchase film rights to the podcast became a bidding war in recent months with Maddow taking meetings with high-level Hollywood execs in an attempt to find the show, which she wrote and hosted, a perfect home.

A bidding war? Wow, sounds like Rachel's doing okay for herself!

I can't wait to see this movie.

Let's hope a movie is made and released during the 4th of July weekend or Labor Day weekend in 2024, just prior to the Presidential General Election. So that people can see what they are voting for when they vote (R).

33. I have been saving the last episode to ruminate on the first ones.

She is so good at this. And to get the Spielberg treatment! Resurrecting a period of history that has been disappeared in the decades after it happened. That we had real American Nazis in our Senate and House even while we were fighting the Nazis overseas. The ones we have now are not outright Nazis but they are authoritarians of various stripes and enemies of democracy.

down the history hole. I wonder what else is out there, we are not aware of. It also shows the need for accountability so idiots such as those in the republican party understand how it will end. I hope we see some real accountability soon and we see a different ending.
