Arizona Judge grants Kari Lake's request to inspect midterm ballots

An Arizona judge approved former GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake‘s request to inspect randomly selected ballots from the midterm election, giving her a small win in her efforts to challenge the results.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson approved three of Ms. Lake‘s four demands for wanting to examine random ballots from the state’s most populous county.

The lawsuit filed by Lake alleges that "hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots infected the election in Maricopa County," many of which being in the form of mail-in ballots.

Lake also claims that as many as 29,257 Republican voters were disenfranchised on Election Day as a result of tabulator or printer failures experienced at polling locations on election day.

The ruling states that a representative chosen by Lake will be given the opportunity to inspect the following:

50 randomly selected "ballot-on-demand" ballots cast on Election Day from six Maricopa County vote centers chosen by her representative.

50 randomly selected early ballots cast in the 2022 general election from six separate Maricopa County batches chosen by her representative.

50 randomly selected BOD printed ballots that were marked spoiled on Election day from six separate Maricopa County vote centers chosen by her representative.

The judge denied Lake's request to copy and photograph ballots.

..the jerk empty lake had until 5PM 12/16 to identify her so called inspectors and where they want to inspect ballots..to what end.. ..the election has already been certified..IMHO, this is just noise for lake to show what a badass she is..audience of one..

The inspection is set to begin Tuesday morning 12/20/2022. Lake’s lawyers previously said the number of illegal votes cast in the general election exceeded the vote margin..(BUNK)... between Lake and Hobbs. The lawsuit says evidence was gathered from witnesses showing “hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots infected the election in Maricopa County.” ...

The judge rejected Lake’s request to have 50 randomly selected early ballots’ envelopes inspected.

The inspection is scheduled to begin on Tuesday of next week.

The judge also ordered for the inspection to be conducted in a manner that “does not in any way interfere with any ongoing recount of the 2022 election results.”

Again to what end///not much else out there, unless you read the red meat articles everywhere..
