GOP Disaster As Just 5% Of Americans Want Biden Investigation

GOP Disaster As Just 5% Of Americans Want Biden Investigation

A recent poll from Suffolk University revealed that just 5% of Americans want House Republicans to investigate the Biden administration.

According to the Suffolk University Poll on 2023 national issues, investigating the Biden administration ranks seventh on the list of national priorities with only 5% support.

If House Republicans try to make an issue out of investigating Biden, they will be quickly seen through by the vast majority of Americans as the same poll also found that 51% of respondents said that any investigations into Biden are a political effort to embarrass the Biden administration, and 38% expressed the belief that the investigations are an appropriate way to hold Biden accountable.

Thirty-eight percent is a key number in US public opinion polling because it represents the top end of Republican support. Typically the Republican view comes in at 35%-38% in polls.

The fact that just 38%feel that Biden investigations are appropriate suggests that the support is almost all in the Republican Party.

House Republicans are unlikely to be able to pass any serious or meaningful legislation with their four-seat majority. They are counting on keeping the base happy with investigations into Biden, but the nation as a whole sees investigating as a low priority, so every minute that Jim Jordan and his Republican colleagues spend investigating Biden will contribute to their failure and downfall.

Big mistake. They had 30 years to smear Hillary. Biden has been pretty much out of their target area. Also he’s not a woman, making it much harder to slander him. And I really don’t think there is any there there anyway. They will lie and lie and lie, but it’ll just be so much farting in the wind

I wish more articles would include this! They surveyed 1000 registered voters. Almost 34% of respondents came from the south, 24% from the midwest, & about 21% each for the northeast & the west. Seems skewed heavy for the red states.

That's a good thing but time is our enemy. We live in a nation divided into 24 month increments of possibility. It's possible the Republicans implode. It's also possible the Republicans prevent the next 24 month adjustment. The inevitability is that there are always "conservatives" who would gladly toss the whole thing in favor of a fascist dictatorship.

Budget stumbles from year to year on political warts, no time for planning, little time for governing…as the media wants it it seems…lot of money for media in the never ending campaigns! Exemption, military spending, np!

Meanwhile China has one year, 5 year, 10 year and 50 year actual plans and budgets!

Restore confidence that votes for real, non-MAGA R's count. That and a slew of other vote building work at the state level to try and defeat us liberals.

Ah, but revenge is in the air!

Btw, yes, we as taxpayers literally pay for House shenanigans but outside ant-Biden groups will funnel money into these sham investigations at the local level to influence media. Just look at all the complaints they already voice about the failed Musk driven investigations about Twitter, FBI, CIA to silence the most violent speech by MAGATS!

and won't give a shit whether or not 95% of us don't want them bogged down in stupid and useless investigations instead of maybe doing their jobs. They will grandstand and "investigate," demanding TV time to try to market their bullshit to people who know better.

They'd be much better off if they kept a low profile for the next two years, quietly renaming post offices and preventing any real legislation from passing through the House. It's what they do best.

They won't, of course, they'll hoot and holler and quiver their jowls and throw total hissy fits over nothing and they'll convince people that party is lost in foolishness.

Let the games begin.

And maybe if the sitting Congress had done something to reinstate the rights of so many women to timely, gender specific health care, more of them might have been reelected.

GOP operating procedure is to denigrate, lie, and fulminate about the lies not being answered. Never, Never, Never do they operate in public acknowledgement of the observable simple truth. As long as the Dark Money wants single party rule that is what they'll do, even to the extent of capsizing the party.

For over 30 years they have recruited candidates to this specific end who value party loyalty and owning the Libs above ANY OTHER VALUES. The entire GOP leadership is a cabal of Constitution hating, self-dealing, Christo-Fascist zealots who will do ANYTHING their ultra-rich Christian Nationalist patrons demand. That is the contemporary GOP in plain language.

They falsely claim to be conservatives but they are far more Libertarian than they would care to admit.

The clips of trumps arrogant ass bullshit in the Doc created an anger that is not healthy for anyone. To think of all she has done for this country and to have to hear a word from MTG and all the traitorous clowns smear shit on her name, like they did inside our house, they might as well shit on and burn the flag and the constitution.
This woman is one of the greatest American's in our history. A bucket list wish for me would be to meet her and thank her for her service. What she gave to this country overshadows my 8 years of Navy far and above. Thank you Madame Speaker, and go straight to hell all you right wing idiots.
