OP
Republicans will change it back as soon as they're sworn in, but it's nice to see.

(1,359 posts)3. Republicans will use the name of the room as evidence
That the J6 hearings are a partisan witch hunt.
Because they are *that* desperate and think their constituents are *that* stupid. Unfortunately, they're likely correct on the second thought.

(10,420 posts)12. Hard to call it partisan when there were both Democrats and Republicans...
...on the committee and both Democrats and Republicans voted for these criminal referrals.
So, it's actually bipartisan.

(1,359 posts)14. Not according to the repubs
They've been all over TV screaming about the J6 partisan witch hunt for months

If you haven't learned to ignore their claims by this point, I don't know what to tell you.

That's just awesome. They always talk about "owning the libs", well they just got sand kicked in their face.

Do they get renamed regularly?

Uncle Joe Cannons career in Congress spanned almost five decades. During that time, Cannon served as chairman of three committees: Expenditures in the Post Office Department, Rules, and Appropriations. From the 58th Congress through the 61st Congress (19031911), he simultaneously chaired the Rules Committee and served as Speaker of the House. As chair of the Rules Committee, Cannon managed the floor schedule for legislation and, as Speaker, he controlled the debate on the floor. During Cannons reign, he usurped power from the committee chairs and ruled the Congress with an iron fist, earning him the nickname Czar Cannon. He once said, Sometimes in politics one must duel with skunks, but no one should be fool enough to allow skunks to choose the weapons.https://history.house.gov/Historical-Highlights/1800-1850/Speaker-of-the-House-Joseph-Gurney-Cannon-of-Illinois/
