Should have added it as an option, oops.

That was a truly awesome night/morning, wasn't it? A huuuge relief! It kind of feels like it was a foregone conclusion now, it was such a resounding trouncing.

Without the voter suppression/intimidation/vote flips etc the true numbers are of course much higher. I wonder if we'll ever find out what they really were?

Thanks for your vote!

efforts in, coincidentally, all the swing states to suppress the vote. They failed, but only because of the diligence of Democrats who have learned to take nothing for granted anymore, and to expose them each time they try.

Something seriously needs to be done about our election system. We should not have to fight to vote, no one should, or to spend four hours on line trying to do so.

I keep remembering what Paul Weyrich, the father of the current extremist Republican Party said about voting, he said that low voter turnout was in their interests. And they have worked hard to keep it low ever since.

Also, since so many millions of people do not vote at all, maybe Dems should start now trying to educate people about voting and why it really does matter.

Great to see you again, Turborama,

Grayson is not presidential material.

Try O'Malley/Warren

I will never understand the fantasy crap.

Grayson will never win statewide office. He doesn't have the skills and though I like his politics, he's a blowhard.

Roosevelt wasn't particularly thought of as presidential material and who would ever have thought that The Terminator was material for any kind of political office let alone Gov. of California? I know I thought it was a joke.

Just two years ago, Grayson was considered a one term wonder who wasn't Congressional Material.

I think he would make a great president. He would be more like Teddy Roosevelt and LBJ, no nonsense and no tolerance for Republican shenanigans as is apparent in all his interactions with them in Congress.

He's got my vote!

Grayson might or might not be a great president, but he in no way has the political skills and he's said stuff that is far too divisive to hold up nationally. This really is a closely divided nation about to become even more divided. In addition, Grayson would, in 2016, be at the most, a 3 term rep. Representatives do not get elected President. I know it's a drag, but that's just a fact.

Thanks for the perspective check, Sabrina.

BTW I can only use my phone to get online at the moment and can't see the names of OP posters without going into the OP. If you post OPs (or have posted one recently I missed) I'd really appreciate a heads up via PM so I don't miss them...

he was elected twice, so what does that say about us?

I think Grayson would make a great president. He would tolerate no nonsense from Republicans and whenever I go to Utube and see some of his excellent take downs of Republicans, the comments, across the board, even from Repubs, cheer him on. People like a fighter and they like someone who tells the truth.

We have been programmed into thinking we have to be polite to the lunatics on the Right. I simply don't understand that and doing so has been a disaster for this country. By NOT challenging them for so long, we gave some of the most insane people, legitimacy.

We need more Grayson's in Congress. Icing on the cake for him this election was the defeat of West, the guy who defeated him last time with huge amounts of money pouring in to his campaign and they had targeted Grayson for extinction. But, he's back, lol! And West is gone.

It was a good night all in all.

I really like both, but I'm realistic/ pragmatic. I like to win. Sorry to all the purists, but that's the system we have now.

'under certain conditions'. She is too into wars and her association with the Family really bothers me. Cuomo too has been a huge disappointment to NYers on so many issues, such as Fracking eg. Both are far too corporate, we need true Progressives. Just being progressive on the expected issues, every Democrat is expected to support equal rights for all Americans eg, doesn't give the full picture of a candidate. Even moderate Republicans are okay with those issues. But on Foreign policy Clinton has been extremely disappointing.

I really hope we get some new candidates in 2016.

Both seats will be safe so I'll go with Warren as VP. She wouldn't have a ton of time in and would be a little long in the tooth but I don't think that matters that much, especially in the VP slot.
