The Slobfather says the Criminal Referrals make him stronger😀😀

Yeah right!
Can’t wait for his response when Ways and Means make his tax returns public.
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3781379-trump-responds-to-jan-6-criminal-referrals-it-strengthens-me/

Former President Trump on Monday responded to the Jan. 6 committee’s decision to urge the Justice Department to prosecute him and some of his associates over their involvement in the Capitol riot and efforts to overturn the 2020 election, saying the move makes him “stronger.”
“These folks don’t get it that when they come after me, people who love freedom rally around me. It strengthens me. What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger,” Trump said on his Truth Social social media platform.

The Fake charges made by the highly partisan Unselect Committee of January 6th have already been submitted, prosecuted, and tried in the form of Impeachment Hoax # 2. I WON convincingly. Double Jeopardy anyone!” Trump wrote hours after the panel’s recommendations were formally made.

years where he had the most warning to clean up his act and obey the law. I worry that when they are revealed there will be little in them, and he will use that to say, "See, nothing to see here, it was all a witch hunt."

When we already know from the Trump Org trial that he was running a criminal enterprise for decades.

Justice matters.

They will also show who and/or what entity in which country he is liable to (loans and interests payments).

Also tax evasions (lowering his assets to lie to the tax man while boosting them to get loans).

I believe that tax returns further back would be more damaging but there will be plenty in 6 years of taxes.

Even if the tax returns show that Trump is not as wealthy as he claims that is devastating to a narcissist. I'm sure there will be a lot of dirt in them also, Trump can't help himself.

First things first, release the damn taxes to the public.

He's right. Every ignored recommendation and/or failed prosecution will strengthen him and allow him to brush it all off as partisan politics. That is the dilemma Garland and the DoJ are in. They have to be perfect and even then a jury might not convict.

And it's a slim hope. If the Republicans weren't washing their hands of Trump as a loser, indicting him would have been the only thing that could save him. His only hope would be to create a clash of his candidacy with his indictment, burn everything down to save himself.

With his candidacy shaky (but not gone), it's harder for him to burn everything down. He's getting boring. A lot of Republicans want him swept under the rug and walked over. The left is starting to free itself from the silly, pseudo-religious "lefter than thou," so it's harder to exploit a caricature gap. Trump's goose is cooked unless he thinks of something new. But I never count him out.
