Will Trump be indicted by DOJ? (POLL)

Last edited Tue Dec 20, 2022, 05:31 PM - Edit history (1)

The sad part is, even if he is indicted, tried, convicted and jailed, he will have served Putin's purpose.

The damage he has done to the institution of the executive branch and office he held is incalculable.

For this reason, other than justice being served and guardrails hopefully put in place, I see no cause to celebrate any outcome.

2. Indicted, not convicted.

Guilty as hell, but there will always be one juror who refuses to convict

... who then does the right-wing media circuit and then runs for congress and/or sells a book...

8. Indicted, convicted, and jailed - but a BIG IF

If Biden or another Dem wins in 2024.

If a Republican wins, he'll pardon the orange bastard on Day One. I think the idea of a pardon is going to loom large in the 2024 election , assuming Trump is not the GOP nominee.

9. I don't think they will lock up an x president. They will

bar him from holding office at most.

11. The word "jailed" should be in scare quotes

No matter what happens, even if Trump is indicted, convicted, and sentenced to technical incarceration, he'll never be in a real prison. House arrest is the worst he'll experience.
