Rep Doggett said the committee didn’t investigate whether the 2015 and 2016 returns were ever under audit, so it’s possible that they were. The committee focused on 2017+. But those returns showed a huge capital loss carry forward from one or more of 2015 and 2016, so it should have been investigated in his opinion.
