Russian sausage tycoon Pavel Antov dies in Indian hotel fall

Whoops another one

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64101437

Russian sausage tycoon Pavel Antov has been found dead at an Indian hotel, two days after a friend died during the same trip.
They were visiting the eastern state of Odisha and the millionaire, who was also a local politician, had just celebrated his birthday at the hotel.
Antov was a well known figure in the city of Vladimir, east of Moscow.
Last summer he denied criticising Russia's war in Ukraine after a message appeared on his WhatsApp account.

THE FALLS: PETER GREENAWAY’S VIOLENT UNKNOWN EVENT MOVIE
August 14, 2018 · by Supreme Being · in Active Observation. ·
In The Falls (1980), Peter Greenaway’s first feature film, Greenaway does what he seems to enjoy most: cataloging, numbering, and otherwise ordering the chaos of life. The Falls, we are told at its outset, is only a part of a much larger project, that of cataloging everyone affected by the Violent Unknown Event (VUE), which VUE is, per its name, never explained. Whatever it was, it happened, it affected millions, and in some way or another, birds had something significant to do with it.

The Falls, then, is concerned only with the 92 people affected by the VUE whose last names begins with letters FALL

I'm kind of a fan of Mob documentaries and movies like "Colombiana".
De-sensitized? Only in certain specific cases.
I still tear up at Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies.
But I'd sleep like a baby at night if I had any part in it.

They get together, quit the mob and retire, selling home-to-market Moose milk on contract to the NFL.

Until their old bosses try to horn in on their action. Then, it's "Antlers Aweigh", how Penelope got her groove back.

There's a sequel and a prequel and a Nyquil* too.

I mean if you are a Russian Oligarch (Or very, very rich at least) I feel like you probably should re-evaluate your hotel accommodations while traveling. Perhaps stay on the 1st floor? Maybe that's why so many of them have Yachts.

Of the sequence in the James Bond book, Live And Let Die when Bond had his finger deliberately broken by the henchman of the bad guy in a very sadistic manner, the little finger of his left hand if I recall correctly, and then he goes to a medic to get patched up. The medic asks what happened to your finger and Bond replies. I caught it in a door and the medic says good thing you didn’t catch your neck in that door.
