George Santos says he had a brain tumor!

And it was cured with chemotherapy.

You know, this is one thing I might actually believe. Considering how out of touch he is with reality.

and he got a lot of sympathy for it. It was also his excuse for his repeat misbehavior at his workplace.

Of course the tumor wasn't true, and he turned out to be an endless fabulist with all number of tall tales. Santos reminds me so much of that guy. I don't have a copy of the DSM, but there's got to be a psychiatric diagnosis for this.

The manager of the band I was in for around 3 years in the early to mid 80s. He was also the brother of the front man. (I don't say lead singer, because I sang lead on as many songs as he did.)
He claimed to be authoring a Beatles book. Then, there were pro photographer layouts of the book cover. Then...
Money in 2 funds was lower than it should have been. (One for studio time, the other to upgrade power amps & expand the light show.)
We suspected there was no book, and the band paid for those gorgeous "book jacket covers".
When confronted, he suddenly was diagnosed with a brain tumor. We used that as our out. I'd take over band finances so he could focus on his health. Over the next year, he never had treatments, never got sick. We figured out $11,000 was missing.
