though it is pretty hard to be fringy enough for the Freedom Caucus. The republican party is such a mess.

He's a Trump sycophant, but he's also pushed back on things like impeaching Biden because he knows how bad that will look for them.

So he was against the insurrection until he talked to Trump, then he reversed, now he's attempting to mainstream to be Speaker.

I don't see anything going on there, but Freedumb Caucus would surely see waffling in those flip flops.

To "flip", you have to be under threat of prosecution (I really don't see grounds, but we don't see everything) and have something to offer.

But lets assume they have jammed up and he is in legal peril (a big assumption).

What could he be offering? The doj would surely already have all of his phone logs, text messages, and relevant witness statements. Heresay? Protected house documents the dems didn't have? A love affair with both thomas's?

The loonies don't need an excuse other than he isn't white enough.
