45. Tyler Perry as Madea!

He always has me in stitches.

He's one of my favorite people this year. He came to the rescue for Meghan Markle, Harry, and Archie at the drop of a hat. He was a stranger, and he protected them from potentially serious physical harm when Harry's family enabled it.

We watched Flip Wilson as Geraldine.

Milton Berle in various dresses.

The movie Some Like It Hot.

The TV show Bosom Buddies (with Tom Hanks! ).

Bunches of it in Monty Python ( "Oh, intercourse the penguin!" ).

And the most famous one of all, one that I haven't seen mentioned at all: Lassie. Every single dog that played Lassie was male. And completely unclothed at all times.

They'd been similarly indoctrinated by exposure to this Berle fellow during their own formative years:

When I was in high school back in the sixties there were womanless beauty pageants every year. Some of the men were gorgeous!! Of course some weren’t. Didn’t affect anyone I knew. I loved Klinger and thought he had some snazzy outfits. Just hate to find out he was a republican

It was hilarious and the guys really got into it.

Watching a 6'5" basketball champion hamming it up in an outfit any sorority girl would love to wear (complete with 4" heels) was the best! I think he won, but I am not sure. I do know he became an executive with KFC

The Meme I found did not have the little blue bird in the upper RH corner, guessing Meme makers turn
everything outside of picture black to hide the bird. I always have difficulty copying stuff off of
twitter, is there an easy way to copy stuff or do you have to be a member in order to do so?

I don’t believe that you have to be logged into an account for access to view and copy a link

The rendering color scheme is dependent upon the viewing client’s settings for dark/light

Meme makers just use a screen capture tool and editing tools if needed (but then of course
you have to upload it to some hosting site like Imgur)

To simply post/share a tweet you just:
1) acquire the tweet’s link via the options icon bottom/right & “Copy Link”
2) paste that into your “Message text” form box here at DU
3) trim off the useless URI tracking data AND question mark
4) preview to make sure you got it right
( optional: copy/paste original text of tweet and sandwich it between “excerpt” begin/close tags )

To find the original tweet: I use my iPad’s OCR feature to select and copy the meme’s text and ideally the “@acntname” - drop that into Twitter’s search box. Note, sometimes the search fails,
usually because the original was deleted, or the meme’s source was faked.

Hope this helps !

. . . Youth For Christ.

There were Bible studies on school property during non-school hours* but most activities took place at different churches in the area. We had lots of fun social events, one of which included a drag performance. One of the guys borrowed some clothes from me and I helped him with his make-up.

* I have no objection to this, as long as Pride organizations and other religious groups are offered the same considerations.
