I keep thinking of Biden laughing during Ryan's responses during their debate. The Happy Warrior.

I argue all the time with one of my right wing friends and he's every bit as confused and misguided about the economy and government as Ryan. I know the difficulty I have getting my friend to accept certain things as fact, even things that are based on science, when they run counter to the constant drone of Fox News and right wing hate radio.

I knew Biden would have trouble with this one who could lie like he truly believes it. But he didn't. Instead, he laughed and said, "that's not true." Biden's laughter at the insanity and lying of Ryan was the best possible dismissal of Ryan's bullshit. He made Ryan look like the flimsy joke he is. He smacked him down and made him irrelevant to the campaign. I saw Biden show me how to point out when right wing nutjobs are full of shit and do it in a way that doesn't give their bullshit positions any weight. Looking over your shoulder with a grin and asking, "is he fucking serious?" is an effective way to say "this guy is a fucking moron!"
