1. So the traitors got a promise not to be indicted.

The committee to attack the DOJ would prevent the DOJ from indicting them.

Isn't this bribery? Isn't he "buying" votes by offering positions of power or other things of importance/power in exchange for their votes?

Anywhere else, this would be illegal but of course I do realize who we are talking about....

Also - is there no rule that puts a limit on this nonsense???

4. The christofascists goal isn't to keep McCarthy away from the gavel....

The goal is give them more committee power to have investigations and whip up the nutjob base.
The goal is to cripple the ethics committee and security of the House to allow them to stop the certification the next time.
