FYI: When posting tweets or images-- everything after the ?, including the ?, should be deleted.

For example, a tweet URL might have an extension that looks like this

?s=20&t=mRf1PKp7figZzhi2Fpai4g

That entire extension, including the question mark, should be cut off, so it won't end up as clutter below the tweet.

So you can use the PREVIEW function and see what garbage is left over and delete that.

IF all you see is a link and something like format=jpeg, the link itself might go to the pic, but it won't embed in post.

?itok=n6Ew0c_Q

?itok=n6Ew0c_Q shows under pic when you preview.

SOMETIMES it is in the middle, so when you preview it shows you what to cut.

a way by Accident to copy link that doesn't have the "Clutter"..

Just go to the Original tweet and copy that link.

Thank you!

In fact 99% of links anyone posts to anywhere ... one can remove everything after the question mark to make a nice clean link without a whole bunch of tracking info in it.

Def. a pet peeve of mine

Instead of this load of garbage:
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Stereo-Audio-Cable-Meters/dp/B00NO73MUQ/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=YgB08&content-id=amzn1.sym.a5eaa569-8a45-4530-84d2-2dcf8023272a&pf_rd_p=a5eaa569-8a45-4530-84d2-2dcf8023272a&pf_rd_r=3H549KN663WRGFGFR1TN&pd_rd_wg=UuGMb&pd_rd_r=61ded244-4756-4fb2-b605-871194891e48&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mi

post this nice, clean one:
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Stereo-Audio-Cable-Meters/dp/B00NO73MUQ/

It's pretty rare for links that are meant for public use ... that any of the info after the ? is necessary for the operation of the link. It's all tracking/marketing/click counting crap.
