Democrats could end this

They could cut a deal with Kevin. He ends the deals with the insurrectionists and they vote present in numbers to give him a majority. KM gets his Chair, we get a congress back to work, and the traitors get nothing

People don’t trust Kev to keep his word, and that includes his own caucus. That, plus he’s most likely pissed off chairmen who don’t want any of these loonies on their committees, which is probably one of Kev’s desperation moves.

He’s pretty much boxed himself into an impossible corner.

The Dems should just stay out of it.

In case you haven't been listening to the news, no one thinks that Republicans, much less McCarthy, are willing to cut a deal with Democrats at the moment.

So, put your blame where it rightfully belongs: squarely at the feet of the Republicans.

and intense anti-Democratic, anti-liberal, anti-government, anti-taxation, and now anti-democracy passions.

McCarthy and company have been betraying the nation, pleasing their voters, and serving their megadonors by blocking everything the Democrats try to get done for years now. Any who try to work with us in the way imagined would have a pack of hyenas on their backs as soon as it got out. (They do quietly work with us behind the scenes on some things they want, but that doesn't change what they are.)

The Freedom Caucus types differ from most of the rest in that they're even more viciously nihilistic oppositional types who add the GOP house's "90% majority" itself to those they attack. They're intensely ruthless and willing to tear the institution apart to get their way, or these days just to tear it apart.

Nobody can trust anything McCarthy would "promise," because I guarantee he would have his fingers crossed behind his back with whatever he said to get his way.

Make him come crawling for help if he wants it. And make him go on LIVE NATIONAL TV to announce that he's giving the Democrats every concession they want, to get their votes.

Then turn around and vote 212 for Hakeem again.

Just to show how much we don't trust that amoral psychopath.

There must be enough of them who have won in blue states or districts that Biden won. They will be on the block in two years and hold no loyalty to KM. They need to wake up and realize the insurrectionists will turn on them as the have turned on KM.
