findings. It irks me that so many ate it up and regurgitated the grim "red wing" verbatim and 24/7, but in the end, it mostly backfired.

He is majority leader, it's not like he has to hold a vote he knows he's going to lose in the full house. This is straight up incompetence at the job he is so desperate to hold.

because they literally cannot do anything else until it happens. Not even swear in the members. It isnt even up to him.

The Constitution demands they come into session on 1/3.
What is puzzling is that is was clear he was going to lose, but he put his name forward anyways, and continues to do so after three days of humiliation.
