Trumps lawyers could be arguing anything, about any grand jury ruling, or not involved at all.

ALL of these hearings are "secret". Nothing significant here without details.

17. Looks like just more stall tactics by Trump's lawyers to prevent witnesses from testifying

Never ending appeals they will lose but then the witnesses will either plead fifth or forget or lie to protect him causing enough obstruction the DOJ can't ever hold him accountable just as with the Mueller investigation.
