They actually moved. The other 4 holdouts are still not voting for McCarthy. It could be a clever game by Gaetz and Boebert but they did their part.

1. It's probably Gaetz fault.

He seemed to have suggested that he would vote for McCarthy on Fox Noise right before the vote. That's why McCarthy didn't approach another person to get the 3rd present needed because they thought they had it with Gaetz's 1 vote + Boebert's 1 present vote. Gaetz tricked Fox Noise and the McCarthy team.

2. McCarthy appears to have sold out some of his control and power.

Everyone in the place knows he is weak. The christofascists' majority is slim and weakens McCarthy and the GOP caucus.

Going to be ugly. Investigation theater and faux impeachment hearings.

The Democrats should take advantage of it. We all know nothing is going to get done. The Democrats should make sure nothing supported by the fascists get done.
