No honeymoon for McCarthy

Minority Leader Jeffries has got us primed and the first attempt to placate the nutso caucus the Democrats, the media and the Senate Republicans are going to hand him his ass.

Every late night host is going to target him. SNL will crucify him.

Gaetz is going to upstage him. MTG will patronize him. Fox will lament "Why Kevin why?"

He is so far out of his depth that when he looks up all he can see is Jeffries shoe laces.

The humiliation of Kevin has just begun. Just when he thinks it cannot get any worse the 'moderates' in the GOP caucus will pin hole every Washington based correspondent to explain how they disagreed with all of his concessions.

And then the "Votes to Vacate the Chair" will become so routine that McCarthy will be re enacting Groundhog Day but sans the romantic love interest.

Putz is as putz does.

is going to ensure hours of entertainment. Dems can join the party, too, when it suits their purposes.

Kevin isn't going to last long in that seat. I'm almost willing to bet he'll be ousted before Thanksgiving if not sooner.

He's as much a lying scumbag as the rest of them are. I wouldn't put it past him to go back on any promises he made.

The r thugs can't get their act together to vote FOR him as Speaker without a spectacle. What makes you think they'll be able to do it to vote AGAINST him having the seat.

It's illogical.

So, unfortunately, they can't really join in the party, other than in the same capacity they did here. No doubt they have a huge supply of popcorn, though. They'll be needing it. It's going to be a shitshow from the get-go.

I get that they didn't support him for speaker, but that was about ego more than policy.

They don't have to force him to do anything he wouldn't otherwise want to do.

Take a look at his voting record. Take a look at the agenda he laid out for Congress BEFORE the last Congress ended.

He won't fight with the Freedom Caucus because, for all intents and purposes, he is and has been a member.

Show me where he has taken positions on significant legislation different from the the Freedom Caucus members. He voted against certifying Biden's election. He voted against censuring Gosar and Greene, he fought against the J6 Commission being created. He, and virtually every other member of the Republican caucus, whether or not formally members of the Freedom Caucus, are in alignment philosophically.

I hope Kevin's own Freedom Caucus eats him alive, they pretty much did that to him all week. After what 15 tries to speakership???

And what concessions were made? that's what I would like to know?? Not for the America people, that is for sure. And Marjorie standing next to him??? She's a parasite as well.
