Dana Bash spoke for us all. 😂🤣😂

'Oh for Christ's sake': Hot mic appears to catch CNN's Dana Bash groaning at Kevin McCarthy's victory boasts

Brad Reed

snip

While talking to reporters on Friday afternoon, a confident sounding McCarthy outlined why he believed his own party was finally ready to give him enough votes to get him across the finish line.

"I believe at that time we'll have the votes to finish this once and for all," McCarthy said. "It just reminds me of what my father always told me: It's not how you start, it's how you finish. And now we have to finish for the American public."

At this point in the CNN broadcast, a voice that sounded like CNN's Dana Bash interjected and said, "Oh, for Christ's sake."

In subsequent coverage of the upcoming 14th House Speaker vote, Bash would ridicule the notion that McCarthy had showed that he'd gotten his caucus in order and she suggested that he only showed them how they could effectively blackmail him during future negotiations.

Reminds me of NJ Gov Chris Christie proclaiming a "landslide" re-election against Barbara Buono in 2013 with 60% of the vote when in reality about 50% of registered voters participated in the election, making Christie elected with about 30% endorsement by the residents of New Jersey. Yeah, he won, but with 30%? That's a "landslide"?

I mean FDR got around 60% of the vote in 1932, and turnout was just over 50% then too. By that your standard, nothing is a landslide because turnout rarely reaches that high.

My concept of a "landslide" is 80+% of the registered electorate voting and the "winner" getting 60+% of that vote.

These Rethugs talk this stuff and really expect people to either be stupid and believe them or that the rest of us will be bowled over by their boldness of lying.

CNN’s Dana Bash described the first presidential debate between President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden as a “shit show” shortly after the tumultuous event concluded.
Bash made the comment while discussing the debate with CNN host Jake Tapper on the network, with Tapper saying that “the American people lost tonight, because that was horrific.”
“You just took the words out of my mouth,” Bash said. “You used some high-minded language. I’m just gonna say it like it is. That was a shit show.”

“And, you know, we’re on cable. We can say that. Apologies for being maybe a little bit crude, but that is really the phrase that I’m getting, you know, from people on both sides of the aisle on text,” she continued.
“And it’s the only phrase that I can think of to really describe it,” she added.

She is CNN tool secure in her right wing spin career.

I just googled her. I had NO idea she and John King used to be married and even have a child together!

I don't watch her that often and when I have, I never noticed her right-wing ways....But once again, I only really watch her when she's on a panel or something like that.

MSNBC reporter asked something like how are you going to govern effectively with such division, and he responded, ending with and now “we know how to govern.” She was outright laughing at him.
