Not that it means everything, but Gaetz is 24 years his junior. He is also into fitness and in far better shape. The only advantage Rodgers appears to have is height (5'9 over Gaetz's 5'7), but that is slight. Of course, ya never do know until it actually happens.

14. I don't think Rogers was attacking Gaetz physically. I think he was saying something

insulting and that the Republican strategy was not to offend the asshole before they got his vote.

That is why his colleague put his hand over his mouth.

Now the GOP is going to treat Gaetz like someone who has earned respect. If they don't, he has the power to stop, obstruct, delay any action of any kind by the Republican caucus. They have put themselves at the mercy of a man who preys on teenage girls because he is thrilled by the power he can wield over them.
