In the "other" reality...

There was no "insurrection". It was only a "rally" that got out of hand.

Those arrested are "victims". They should not be in jail.

Donald Trump won the election in 2020 by a landslide. Joe Biden did not even come close to 80 million votes.

The "fake news" cannot be believed. Trump is a messenger from God and only he can be believed. He tells it "like it is".

The FBI was wrong to get a search warrant for the home of the former president. It doesn't matter if they found stolen documents.

Joe Biden is not the legitimate president. The election in 2020 was a fraud. It was stolen from Donald Trump and his supporters.

How does one respond to such comments? Is it that you can no longer believe what you see with your own eyes?

What can you do when the "other" reality is given more and more oxygen every day?

The truth becomes the "lie" and the lie becomes the "truth".

It becomes old and tiresome.

When will it ever change?

With the inhumane destructive capability of WWI and WWII.

Perhaps in US history, when freedom was suddenly about economic expansion. I'm thinking when the Republican Party was founded.

When Karl Marx, known to scholars, "turned capitalism on its head."

The Reformation, and the subsequent 30 Years War.

Some say the "invention" of Christianity.

I wonder if history, or reailty, can always be turned on its head for the political and economic exploitation of particular vested financial interests.

Or at least the history of our species. Seems most of the natural world isn't stupid enough to spend precious time on mind games. The downside of these big noggins I guess.
