Peters oversaw one of the few instances in modern history of a president's party expanding its Senate majority during his first midterm.
And Barnes was a terrible candidate and competing Democrats made a mistake by backing out of the race and clearing the field for him. I don't know how much Peters had a say in that -- probably little to none.
Not sure why you felt the need to shit on a good Democrat's legitimate accomplishments?
