Dan Goldman and I are filing a formal complaint with the House Ethics Committee against George Santos for violating the Ethics in Government Act. Santos must be held accountable for defrauding both Congress and the public.

and ensuring that they don't investigate any of their own people.

Santos is a way for them to erase any remaining vestiges of belief in standards or truth in anything. I mean, he lied about his NAME, that's as basic as you can get. It moves the goalpost to "you don't have to tell the truth about anything, really, it's cool...as long as you are a Republican."

Nobody can find a record of his birth certificate under George Santos. His purported full name is George Anthony Devolder-Santos, but he has also gone by Anthony Dee. https://ballotpedia.org/George_Devolder-Santos

Perhaps his birth certificate is under his Brazilian name, Jorge Antonio Santos-Devolder or Jorge Antonio Devolder-Santos. He previously claimed to be a native of Brazil.

But the GOP birthers aren't bothered by any of that.
