(82,849 posts)The major media would sooner eat a pile of dog shit than report on this CBO score for the latest shenanigans from the Republicans. They're always on about how government should be run like a business (it shouldn't, but arguendo let's let that slide for now). What business doesn't send out bills for its goods and services? Would such a business just assume its customers and clients would send in money without an invoice? That's what the IRS does for the federal government.
