(1,096 posts)We're not important, like they are. We're service animals at best, completely interchangeable and replaceable. Not quite as human as they are.
When we stand up for our worth, individuality, equality, humanity and rights, we're just being uppity and troublesome. They need badly to bring us back under a control they never actually had, so they can get back to important things. They're putting down an insurrection, in their opinion.
Screw them and the horse they rode in on. And anybody that looks like them. And anybody that looks like the horse they rode in on. Just...Screw them. And I don't mean in a good way. I'm thinking power tools.

(13,712 posts)I understand why the repukes vote against women's rights, it's all about control. What I don't understand is why any woman would ever vote for a republican.

in their life was having a medical problem or an unwanted pregnancy, they could travel as far and as fast as they needed to in order to obtain the necessary medical services. A vacation in Switzerland wouldnt be out of the question, if it came to that.
The rest of us can just go bleed to death in private, or die of untreated septicemia in a hospital ward.
As for the voices of their wives, mothers, sisters I remember when George HW Bush was elected. It was known that he and Barbara had Planned Parenthood on their charitable contributions list forever, and that Barbara was definitely pro-choice so we were told that the rise of the pro-life movement in the GOP was not something we needed to worry about. Riiiiiight. Her silence was deafening.
Same with Dubya he was fervently embracing the Evangelicals, but his wife was known to be pro-choice. Suuuuure. Her silence was such you could hear a pin drop.
So it has gone with each of the GOP wives. They know which side their bread is buttered on, they cleave to their husbands power as to their own. They are women of privilege.

(55,137 posts)I remember working at my new school in 2012 and asked a fellow teacher if she would be voting for Obama (my own GOTV way of being a good Dem) and her reply was, "Of course I am, I'm a woman, aren't I?". That is how every REAL woman feels. The other females are just pawns and ignorant, often purposely. I have zero time for any of them in my life.

(2,493 posts)10 years ago, we talked about the usual stuff, fishing, football, beer... Then he came up with this chilling statement "I think America's problems all started when women became liberated" I didn't say anything (he was my boss afterall) but stared in shock out of his eyesight.
THIS is what a huge majority of them think!
