It makes me gag.
The "bothsides" idiots are encouraged.
The "all politics is dirty" idiots are encouraged.
The RWNJ's are further emboldened.
Gym Jordan has an erection that would cut diamonds.
I've been to war, lived thru some bad times, followed politics since Ike... but this time, I can't even watch.
(It goes without saying that Biden did nothing worth 1/1000th of the kerfuffle.)

(81,183 posts)Theyll grasp at any straw they think might break Bidens back.
Not only to revenge-slap the Dems as payback, but also to try to cover President Biden as he prepares a run for a second term.
Utterly PATHETIC.

(766 posts)In the end the Justice Department will find Biden did nothing criminal. But until then the media and Republicans in congress will obsess about this story ad nauseam.
Guess the only upside is maybe Republicans will leave Hunter Biden alone.

(3,370 posts)It has to be mangled into a bothsider show so, t will end up as another in a long line of Ken Starr-Monica Lewinsky-Hillary's Emails "scandals." Glad Keith Olbermann is pounding on Anderson Cooper et al for being such craven weasels.

(35,321 posts)that the J6 charges would be hardest to prosecute. That is very hard to prove intent. I think the only chance
left is the Georgia case.
The real goal for Republicans is to drive Biden's numbers down for 2024, just as they accomplished with Hillary Clinton.

As to J6 I dont share your pessimism. All it takes is a a proud boy/oathkeeper flipping.

(13,421 posts)I realize I'm probably paranoid, but HOW the F&*^ did those documents sit undiscovered for so long? Who is supposed to be in charge of this stuff?

(82 posts)The maggots are creaming their shorts looking for a comparison. President Joe Biden unknowingly forgot or some staff forgot. And the White House admitted the mistake in a timely manner. Nothing to see here, move along, move along.

(1,288 posts)I haven't followed the story, but for those who have more than me, is it clear what the genesis of this story was? Did someone tip off officials that these documents existed?
If the Biden administration pre-emptively turned this stuff in when they realized that they had it (which is what I think I read), it's hard to believe that they weren't prompted by someone on the right who notified them.
The timing of this is so perfect for Trump that I find it hard to believe that it's a naturally occurring thing and that it wasn't a card that was played by someone on his side.

(2,541 posts)Happen giving the GOP the gavel back?
Ive been getting some pretty harsh replies pointing out this is exactly what is gonna happen. Wait till the GOP does what it really want and that is to make the Dems look just as incompetent and responsible for the million plus Americans the GOP killed the last time they had the house gavel.
No one should be relishing the clusterfu@k DC is w/ giving power back
to the GOP
Jordan, Boebert, Greene. What these people are going to do with that power will be devastating over the next few yrs and every will pay the price
just like last time.

(2,398 posts)...if I'd have found those documents, I'd have shredded them in a heartbeat and never mentioned to a soul.
Ancient shit like that... no current value....
Except as a bludgeon on Biden's head.
No witness...no crime.
