'Trump far dumber and immoral and ignorant and lazy' than staffers knew before they worked for him

John Kelly didn't have high expectations about Donald Trump when he joined the White House as chief of staff, but he was still shocked by what he found after joining the administration.

The retired U.S. Marine Corps general joined the White House halfway through Trump's first year, and New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" about what Kelly learned about the former president and his abilities.

"So when Kelly came in as chief of staff, he thought that the problem around Trump was that he was not staffed properly and they needed to create a process around him, and that's what the chaos of the first six months of the administration was about," Schmidt said. "But when Kelly comes in as chief of staff, what he realizes is that the problem is not just the fact that there's not a process and that he's not being staffed as well as he could, but that Trump himself was the problem, that Trump was far dumber and immoral and ignorant and lazy than he ever thought he was."

"Within a few days, he becomes terrified because here he is, the top staffer to the president of the United States, and he's realizing that the president of the United States is far more limited and potentially dangerous than he ever thought, and at that point, there was no one else to call," Schmidt added. "He was -- it was just him and Trump, and he basically spends the next 18 months trying to manage Trump as much as he could."

Kelly was all in on insulting Myeshia Johnson, Sgt Johnson’s widow, whose husband was killed in Niger. And the family separation policy at the border etc etc. Every last evil shitty thing, they were all ok with facilitating.

Fuck that guy. Fuck all these complicit motherfuckers. The #TraitorTrump stench isn’t ever washing off

The White House on Friday stood by chief of staff John Kelly’s criticism of Rep. Frederica Wilson’s (D-Fla.) 2015 speech at an FBI building dedication, even though newly released video shows he misrepresented her remarks.https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/356415-wh-stands-by-kelly-criticism-of-wilsons-fbi-speech/

I knew exactly who Donald Trump was when he came down the Golden Escalator, and proceeded to talk about an entire country "sending murderers and rapists". Anyone who starts off a political campaign like that is likely one of the worst people around. If that was the only incident, you might even be able to say, "Well, he choked, maybe from the nerves..." or something to that effect.

Trump showed us OVER AND OVER that is was a disgusting POS, through out the campaign. He could not legitimately answer ANY questions about policy or history, or anything that showed him to be qualified to run a taco stand let alone, the most powerful country in the world.

He lied about things that could easily be disproven, bragged about things that could easily be disproven, showed no filter, and showed no understanding whatsoever about the position that he was campaigning for.

Anyone who joined the campaign or administration had to know exactly what they were getting into. The career employees, who were there before Trump, are the actual victims, not these idiots who thought they could gain power or notoriety by joining a "presidential administration".

Like other, I say BS!!

Kelly was a just a dumb fuck, if he couldn’t figure out trump from the get go. Just cause a person was a general/admiral in the military, doesn’t mean squat to me. Does he or she have any brains where it counts ? I’ve seen plenty of lifers in the military like Kelly, who were sharp quality people. Just like any big organization however, there are also a lot of incompetent unaware ass kissers that are no good.

When it came down to it, Kelly wasn’t worth a shit thinking he could control our favorite would be Orange Hitler.

Like the base commander of the Lackland training annex who was stupid enough to think that covering up his name tag with his hand would prevent me from recognizing who he was, Like I didn't have my head buried in the training manual, 90% of any free moment I had--the same manual with his picture and name in it.
