why do people vote for Republicans I always wonder? They always do the same things: First thing, tax cuts for rich. Second, make sure women/children/vulnerable are in peril/live in fear in as many ways as possible. Third, scapegoats needed. Fourth, force all this down with blackmail on the global interconnected economy (and more peril for poor people).

This cycle we have an extra extra helping of vengeance and anti-democracy.
