(26,289 posts)3. On a local level, it's Dan Kildee taking over his uncle's U.S. House seat
Dale Kildee, who has been a wonderful congressman, is retiring so his nephew, Dan, ran for the seat and WON. And, much like his uncle, he won the seat by a very wide margin. I have no doubt that Dan will be just as effective as Dale. Michigan's 5th Congressional District is very fortunate.
