The US media again. Would I be correct in assuming the child was white? No photos of parents, no

exhaustive search for criminal records of the parents, no reports disparaging rants about unemployment, welfare recipients etc. You know the, MO for black children and families. Just say'in.

Can't say, but there's a major government presence (Navy shipyards and bases) there, so it might also be an issue as to the reputation or job position of the parent/parents, even if the school may not have been in an upscale area. That other parents are talking about what the school didn't do instead of talking about what their kids might have felt about the boy sort of makes me think the those associated with the situation in general are closing up about the situation either to protect the other children or protect a community reputation.
We don't know because those involved don't want to tell us.
We aren't entitled to know, either.
On edit -it is sad that the media does have this habit of eagerly pointing out if the perpetrator is a minority, but not so vocal if the perpetrator is white unless it can be a lurid click-bait scandal - like a child of the local town big-wig, or involving drugs or sexual perversion.

I'm just hoping the silence is because a community is finally acting ethically and not turning this into a breathless front page news ghoulish feeding frenzy circus.

the local (loco?) Sinclair media puppets were concerned about the welfare of other children NOT the other teachers, administrators, school workers. They dropped their usual "loved ones" propaganda when referring to family members.

And we were told Friday was decision time on what to do with the gunman, but unless I missed it, nothing.
