I read that he may be the most popular Governor in the entire country?

(5,482 posts)is like the difference between night and day. Governor Beshear worked tirelessly to save lives. Governor Lee worked to pander to his right-wing, anti-vaxxer, anti-masking voter base.

(41,631 posts)Gov. Beshear has a great reputation among other Democrats, it's true. However a successful Presidential candidate needs to go beyond the Party and appeal to independents and even a few stray Repukes whenever possible.
