Could a moderate like Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky succeed on a national ticket?

If not at the top of the ticket, as the VP nominee?

I read that he may be the most popular Governor in the entire country?

It seems the Democrats might be wise to use that to their advantage?

is like the difference between night and day. Governor Beshear worked tirelessly to save lives. Governor Lee worked to pander to his right-wing, anti-vaxxer, anti-masking voter base.

Gov. Beshear has a great reputation among other Democrats, it's true. However a successful Presidential candidate needs to go beyond the Party and appeal to independents and even a few stray Repukes whenever possible.

We have a strong group of governors, anyone of whom would make a great presidential candidate.

Or 2024 if Joe doesn't run again (but I hope and think he will).
