Just interesting - College educated inlaws with good jobs only watch the Today Show

And Reuters and AP for instant news

Only reason I am saying this is that we have no data on what people watch, what they believe, nor whether they are pursuadable.

Above our pay grade... But I do think it's interesting. Bottom line, we're trying to get a slim sliver over to us.. strikes me we should forget about all the other outlining bullshit and just eternally concentrate on that

I have posted clips from both of those sources here on DU and there has never been a complaint or criticism of either. As for the Today Show, it's a good choice if they prefer to avoid most of the political stuff. The Today Show does have 5 minute segments for local and national news every half hour, and they cover the big weather stories quite well. But it avoids most of the political and editorial stuff, because those go MSNBC for the serious political junkies.

I used to watch Today Show but it was before I got MSNBC on my regular cable line-up. Nowadays I hardly ever watch Today, and I usually don't have my TV on at all until late afternoon.

small?) who are apolitical. Not sure how to GET them. Jeez so much is about personal circumstance

But don't you think we waste our time on the fringe nuts?

To win,=we have to assure people ( mod republicans socially liberal, financially conservative) that we won't change too much or raise taxes. But to do that, we have to abandon social programs.

Obviously it's a conundrum..
