So, five years from now, January 20, 2028, what will be happening politically.

Here’s my predictions:
Biden will be beginning the fourth year of his second term.
Harris will be running for the Dem nomination as will at least 5 other Dems.
Nikki Haley and about ten others will be running for the GOP nomination.
Trump will have been convicted on three charges of (something) in Georgia and Nationally.
However, he will only pay fines and serve no jail time.

3. Fani has guts,

if Trump is convicted in Fulton County he will be sentenced to jail time, Fani Willis is not an institutionalist. She will want to send a message to the Magats who for 5 years have been physically attacking elected officials, school board members, law enforcement. There will be a call for accountability.

6. I seem to have misplaced my rose colored glasses. I predict a 2nd coup attempt long before '28.

And between now and then many more insurgency attacks against political rivals, minorities and infrastructure.
There will be more than 4 parties in '28 or no parties at all.

especially if Trump is indicted. We need to weather the storm.
