(55,165 posts)The more esoteric and profound points made by this deranged man elude me. Can anyone tell me what he's talking about?

(61,033 posts)not to return them.
This whole thing makes me wonder even more how those docs suddenly turned up when an old, unoccupied Biden office was being cleaned out, and then in his garage.
It's just too convenient as special counsel Jack Smith was ratcheting up the pressure on the trump stolen doc case.

(53,195 posts)...I would say his current consumption of mind-altering substances makes Ozzy Osbourne look like Carrie Nation.
And we're not just talking a lot of booze or a lot of pills either. No, folks, that's polydrug abuse you see right there. He's basically dumping everything in the medicine cabinet into his hand and washing it down with a fifth of tequila.
Apparently no one told him the difference between his "ultra secure Mar-a-Lago" and Joe Biden's house is Joe Biden isn't running his house as a hotel.

(53,195 posts)Trump's brother drank himself to death, so Trump decided he wasn't going to drink.
Given that, the boy looks and talks like he's completely shitfaced in that video.
ShazzieB
(22,600 posts)Loads of people have said that about him. If it wasn't true, I think we'd have heard contradictory evidence by now.
I think its's just as well that he doesn't drink. If he can sound this bat shit stone cold sober, can you imagine what he'd be like drunk?

(53,195 posts)If Keith Moon is at three on the dial, a drunk Trump would be about 50.
"Donald! Why did you throw the television out the window again? You know they make us pay for that!"
"You like that television so much? I'm gonna throw you out right after it!"

(9,791 posts)The proof is right there: After conspiring to delay official proceedings of the federal government more than TWO YEARS ago, he is STILL FREE to live a lustful life, graft his gullible Qultists out of hundreds of millions, and make a complete mockery of the supposedly Justice system in this declining country run by billionaire corporations.

Id say Trump disagrees.
On a positive note, Trump has nearly perfected his impression of James Austin Johnson doing his impression of Trump

(22,600 posts)And he probably has good reason to be. He knows that Smith has one job, and that one job is Donald J. Trump. The Orange Hellbeast doesn't like that one bit!
I think he sounds this desperate and unhinged because he's never felt this personally threatened before. In the past, he's always gotten away with stuff by lying, denying, and shifting blame. Those were the only things he's ever learned how to do, and they've always worked for him until very recently. I think he senses that his usual tactics are not working as well as they used to, and he's starting to panic.
Anyone who thinks he's some kind of criminal mastermind is mistaken, imo. He's not that smart; he's just been really lucky so far. He's bold, audacious, willing to take risks, and completely without shame, and those qualities can get a person pretty far. Unfortunately for him, he lacks 2 important things: common sense and good judgment. As a result, he doesn't know how far to push things and when it's time to back off.
Add that to the fact that he is absolutely incapable of accepting a loss (as in the 2020 election), and you get a guy who was crazy enough to think he could overturn an election and spit in the face of the entire federal government. Smart? I don't think so.

Uncle Joe
(65,149 posts)the American People have been dumbed down that he could ever come to power.
That's why the Republican Party had waged war against public education over the past forty years or so by defunding it and trying to privatize everything.
Combine that with the corporate media's decades old war against reason and *rump is the inevitable result.
Thanks for the thread spanone

(65,149 posts)It's amazing how much to do has been made by the corporate media over the "defunding the police" statements while defunding public education over near half a century has been all but ignored.
I believe its' because the corporate media doesn't want a populace with a high degree of critical thinking skills, it's easier to sell a product, candidate or message to ignorant people.
With the corporate media it's all about commercials and which corporate conglomerate owns them.
