People and of course the Lamestream meddis ranting about how Republicans are going to cut SS and Medicare.

They also promised to kill the ACA! After 55 votes and a huge celebration in front of Trump they had a beer party at the House!

What happened? One brave Republican in his last vote in the Senate shot that down!

I am sick of the crazies, the media repeating every word they spew. Not going to take it any more! I am through with fear. This Country is better than a bunch of power mad loonies trying to rule.

I have watched this. Country live through much worse.

A pox on you fear mongers.

People seem to live on fear. I decided not to do it any more. And it is all coming from Republicans and their enablors, the media.

"What do you think about McCarthy's new republican FAIR TAX ACT the House wants to pass" ?

If they are unaware of it, I'll throw in a bone or two.........

"It eliminates the income tax for everybody", "Save me about $10,000 a year how about you?"
"What could you do with all that extra money?" etc, etc

Basically brag it up so it sounds good, and once they say something positive about it, educate them

"Why in the hell do you/republicans in congress want a 30% sales tax on everything except luxury goods?"
"Think this will be the big boost the economy needs"?

ANY OTHER IDEAS FOR QUESTIONS ??? Help me & others out with your ideas, we need to shove this down
R voter's throats.

Big Blue Wave coming in 2024.

Most who went to the polls to vote for Goopers did so to "own the libs." And their representatives are following that script to a tee.

Of course the amount of tax they'll tell people will never be enough to run the Country so something will "have to go" to help pay for it. That would mean of course Social Security and Medicare.

That also...shhhhh doesn't include your State and local sales tax so where I live it would be 37.5% total. Oh yeah...how does that work out for retired seniors who have little to no income other than SS? It would tax them out of their home and into a grave.

BTW,that tax is on EVERYTHING including all labor. Nothing like a 37% tax on a home purchase, car etc.

RW radio loudmouth Boortz was pushing that crap 20+ years ago and it went nowhere.

19. Great description of the ACTUAL GOPee tax plan
Mon Jan 23, 2023, 12:55 PM
Jan 2023

It would, of course, effectively shift the tax burden (what they pay of it) from the wealthy - who normally spend 10% or less of their income - to the rest of us.

Especially the bottom half - since they currently pay no federal income tax, thanks to the generous deductions and credits Democrats put into the tax code over the years.

They would now pay, as you pointed out, around 3/8ths of their income - plus state sales taxes and car tags, which would no doubt have to go up as well.

Many states rely heavily on their sales tax, will the value added tax include this? Like everything else, Republicans, thinking with their creamed corn for brains, have not thought this through

When the numbers came out a surplus, the staff-banging, porcine, serial-adulterer went on Meet the Press where he was asked if Clinton’s policies were such a disaster for the country then explain this…?

And Newt said with a straight face that came from years of lying: “Clinton was just following Reagan’s plan!”

I almost tossed my coffee cup at the TV. Worse, Tim Russert didn’t jump down his throat after he said that lie.

A lie because if it was “Reagan’s plan,” why did it take Al Gore’s single tie-breaking vote as Senate President to get it passed over screaming objections from anti-tax gasbags like Gingrich.

because they care about sane, sensible fiscal policy. None of them care about that. It's just a lie they tell themselves and everyone else. Conservatives vote Republican to screw over everyone they hate, which are anyone not white, conservative and their version of Christian. Even if they suffer as a result as well, they will revel in it, so long as they believe that those they hate are worse off. Republicans will use whatever means to make sure that is true, including fiscal policy.

No thought given to what to do once achieved.

Some people believe a title bestows on them some magical boost in intelligence, job skill and social status.

Not so. You bring to the job what you have, not the other way around, a title is not a magic spell.

But Kev is so compromised by a few groups and individuals in the GOP, he may as well be an empty suit operated by strings.
