*mass shooting is defined as one in which 4 or more are dead ir wounded, including the shooter.

I suppose we accept 42,000 car deaths so that people can go to work and keep the big machine going (I know, it's grim and it's gross).
But shooting a gun at another human being is pure waste of a life. It has no function in society at all.
