The more educated people are, the more likely they will have a Liberal worldview.
The reason that Conservatives ban books instead of tackling gun safety is that guns tend to kill poor people and people of color more than anyone else. Books and education kill the arguments for Conservatism.

Think, and if people think then it will kill the Republican party. Republicans have to control everyone's thoughts in order to survive as a political party.
