What I'd love to see former Presidents Clinton & Carter do

Invite the DOJ to look for classified documents at their homes, and if they did they would add in Bush Jr.

Don't know how all classified documents are generated but I'm going to assume that some of the lowest
class are started like this......

An aide to the President sends him a note " Your motorcade to go to the jewelry store to get your wife's
birthday present will leave the back gate at 1:30. Jewelry store has agreed to having no customers
inside during your visit." Clerk/aide stamps message "CLASSIFIED", because we don't need to advertise the
President's whereabouts while they're out in public.

So the President goes to the Jewelry store, all the news outlets follow the motorcade wondering what's
going on because this wasn't on the Presidents schedule today.

So at the end of the day aides are cleaning everything in the Oval Office, new aide asks what should I do
with this? Well that's not really classified any more but we are supposed to turn everything over to National
Archives but crap like this that's now totally unimportant I usually just throw in the 'To Burn Barrel" or leave
it for the President to declassify. Do what you want with it.

So what happens to it on a judgment call? Lower echelon aides don't like making decisions unless they have to,
so let's leave it in this pile and let the President (busiest man in the world) decide tomorrow.

Believe some if not all of the documents Biden is getting beat up over are things everybody knows about.

So if Clinton or Carter would raise their hand with a "Hey look over here", might take some of the heat off
Biden and show people Democrats take classified documents serious.

Meanwhile Bush Jr will be busy looking for any classified documents related to his lies to start a war.

5. You know this kind of stuff happened to all

former presidents and others who had clearance over history. Instead of turning it over to the archives they were burned or shredded if they were found at all. The difference is they were not gathered, boxed up shipped to their home(s) and hidden for future grift. In President Biden's case they were returned without being asked. Trump refused then lied and tried to hide even after subpoenaed to do so.

8. I remember Carter sending back docs years after he left office

they were organizing in the months before the Jimmy Carter Library opened in 1986 and came across "classified" docs. Turned out to be stupid things like Arafat's shoe size or some such. Something like a dozen pages total over the course of a few months.

But ... classified is classified is classified. There was a little bit of a stink over it in Atlanta. Mattingly used it as proof the Democrats are crooked - and still lost.
