Willis does not want the Special Grand Jury report released because it could harm the investigation and most importantly she said this. She said this to the judge.
Decisions are imminent. That means, about to happen. That means indictments are about to happen.

(43,162 posts)During the 26 member grand jury's term, Willis sent target letters to people she is investigating related to the fake electors plot. These include two Republican officials State Senator Brandon Beach and David Shafer, chairman of the Georgia Republican Party and the 16 people who falsely presented themselves as electors.

(1,273 posts)The Georgia prosecutor investigating former President Donald Trump and his allies for possible criminal interference in that states 2020 presidential election told a judge Tuesday that decisions on whether and whom to charge in the probe are imminent.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis cited that plan during a hearing in Atlanta, where she urged the judge to keep sealed for now a final special grand jury report that was assembled to gather evidence and hear testimony from 75 witnesses for that investigation.
A consortium of media outlets has asked Judge Robert McBurney to make the report public, as the grand jury has recommended.

Now when you have a judge who could not make a yes or no decision today, that could slow things down.

(8,651 posts)She said it could harm the defendants' rights to a fair trial when they are tried. Meaning, she is going to indict and there will be defendants. It could also give them grounds for appeal if they lose.
