$2000 a month for health insurance for my little family of three…. I’d give a whole lot to have Canadian health care.

Our deductible is $7500 per person…max out pocket is $15K. I’m sorry you are having to pay these outrageous premiums too. 😡

Justice matters.

(with quarterly direct deposits from the government(s) again, depending on your yearly income declared on your tax returns), overall you would not pay $24,000/yr to be fully insured, you and your family, but your tax bracket would be higher than it is now.

The more you earn, the more you pay. Incomes of less than $20,000/yr don't pay any income taxes, but some VATs on goods AND services in all provinces (again with direct deposits every 3 months based on your yearly declared net income as partial reimbursements).

No way for any pro Big Pharma Big Healthcare Big Insurance shill to spin it.

The US for-profit healthcare system is the world's largest wealth transfer/wealth consolidation (from the masses up to the top of the pyramid) scheme ever devised. Well over 55, 60 trillion usd over just the next ten years will be spent on it.

What makes it truly a scam is that unless you are wealthy and/or have the luck of having a superb insurance plan, you will often get nowhere near world class care compared to most other advanced Western nations, and even if you do, it may well come with an insanely high cost basis that destroys you economically. Yet many (most?) Americans have been utterly gaslit into believing they have the greatest heathcare system on the planet. It's mass delusional.

It’s a Bronze plan…but it’s the only one I can get…the others are much more expensive. There’s no competition in the state for the individual market and we’re a self employed family. The gaslighting we’ve all been subjected to is insane.

is that I have Medicare with Medicaid as a secondary so I pay nothing for any of my care (which is over a million a year because I have cystic fibrosis). Everyone should have the same plan that I do, the fact that people go bankrupt and lose their house and savings is pure madness.

I have a handful of customers from Canada that have nothing good to say about Justin Trudeau. It always surprises me. These folks almost sound MAGA when I talk to them. Most of those people are in Alberta…my customers from BC and Sask and further east don’t seem to be as extreme.

Ask them why they hate him or what policies they hate all they can talk about is he once went blackface (he was a drama teacher and most of them don't care because they themselves tend to be racists) and the vaccines. I am from Alberta and yes they are the worst, oil country and the radicals have them all believing Trudeau is coming for their jobs. They do not even understand that Trudeau has done more for them than their previous "sweetheart Harper" who came out of Alberta.

asked me if she could use my Glucose Meter and a test strip to check her mom's sugar. I said I could not afford even one as I am limited to 4x per day and I am an insulin-dependent diabetic. Medicare rules are 3x/day unless your doc overrides that on the script. She was aghast, of course. I told her that this is not Canada. She had no words but did understand my answer.
