Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI turned on MSNBC just now...to check on the daily shootings...
Instead, I got an NBC poll that people are unhappy with Biden, country headed the wrong way, etc, etc...
WTF do people WANT, anyway?

(81,893 posts)You know that you don't get to choose what the news covers at any given moment right? Here is a video from 4 days ago:
It looks like MSNBC is currently covering the Tyre Nichols murder heavily. Hopefully that's OK with you. https://www.youtube.com/@msnbc/videos
Of course, you can always leave them feedback: https://www.msnbc.com/information/msnbc-info/contact-us-n1301857

I don't have one problem since I limited my cable news viewing to Nicolle Wallace.
I did listen to Stephanie Miller today, and I try to tune in to Thom Hartmann.

I saw that to, 71% of the people think the economy is gong in the wrong direction. I never voted because I never saw the poll. Where was it posted?

(25,750 posts)to mean everyones blames Biden, or at best both sides. Of course Republicans ALWAYS say the county is headed in the wrong direction when there's a Democratic president. They said the economy was terrible and gloom and doom in 2016 when polled, then the next year it was terrific and everything was coming up roses.
Reminds me of the John Kerry/G.W. Bush election when voters said morals were one of the most important issues, news never explaining that for Republicans that meant the wedge issues of gays/abortion and for Democrats meant the Iraq War was immoral.

(19,847 posts)In many ways I feel like the country is moving in the wrong direction, too. But I'm thinking things like increasing gun violence and wild west carry laws, suppression of school studies, regression on reproductive rights, so on and so forth. I imagine on the other side of the aisle they feel like the country is moving in the wrong direction because of 'wokism,' 'open borders,' 'CRT,' 'rigged elections,' and other imaginary ills.
