Some of the classified material concerned Department of Defense locations throughout the world, detailed explanations of the Air Force's capabilities and vulnerabilities, and the methods by which the Air Force gathers intelligence.

A high-ranking Air Force officer admitted last year to retaining hundreds of highly sensitive documents at his Florida home. How much information is floating around out there, anyway? Via The Daily Beast:
Some of the information was classified at the Top Secret/SCI level, and laid out, among other things, capabilities and collection methods used by the National Security Agency (NSA), according to investigators. If ever exposed, the files could be expected to cause exceptionally grave damage to the national security of the United States, prosecutors said in a plea agreement unsealed over the weekend and obtained by The Daily Beast.
Robert Birchum, 54, spent 32 years in the Air Force and retired as a lieutenant colonel in June 2018. During his career, Birchum served as the chief of combat intelligence for an unidentified Air Force group, and later worked with classified intelligence information at the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Special Operations Command (SOCOM), and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), according to the plea deal, which was signed Aug. 26, 2022, but kept under wraps until now.

(4,399 posts)Manning and Snowden were Army, much farther back, yes? McGonigal had a full career in the FBI and was back then in charge of FBI's Manning (who did Army intelligence work) investigations? And Birchum had a long career in the AF including "an unidentified AF group" in various aspects of the military's "intelligence" that included the joint services?
LOL, the NYPost published some crazy story that McGonigal's ex-wife (Pamela) and Biden's daughters were linked by both their daughters interest in lacrosse sports which somehow showed up in the data storage on Hunter Biden's laptop. I won't provide the link, seeing as it seems the GQP's laptop conspiracy theory campaigns still persist.
As well as connections with the DeVos family members and Alpha Bank "military-like" security "chess games" and grifting campaign funding???
Nevertheless, being of relatively the same age, and going on to other civilian positions in security, is there a chance all their paths crossed if only an FBI investigative report McGonigal might take a self-benefical interest? I guess we're all curious.

(31,062 posts)In the so-called Hunter Biden laptop. I wouldnt be surprised if the girls played lacrosse its a big sport especially in the Catholic and public high schools around here. I dont think its a crime for girls to play sports yet. I think its obvious that the macho, police, military, culture hated Hillary. And if its one thing really we know by now, law enforcement officers are not restrained by the law at all. Why on earth did this Air Force Colonel have all these documents anyway? Has he been advising Trump?
