The Philadelphia Eagles are set to fly out to Arizona for the Super Bowl in the coming days, but one of their players, Josh Sills, has been accused of rape and kidnapping.

(17,865 posts)After he came under investigation in 2019. He has now been indicted so I can't imagine he will travel with the team.
I assume they can replace his roster spot with a practice team member.

(510 posts)Josh Sills is, of course, innocent until proven guilty. Nevertheless, his career is at peril, and potentially his liberty. And this will affect his team at the SB.
He's 325 lbs and 66? Damon Runyan would have called that a gorill'. You are right, the assault must have been horrific.
And the timing does seem weaponized.
I wonder what's going on in the heads of his parents and his teammates?
