Lauren Boebert probably thinks this sentence means that only 46% of Americans own guns. Remember, this is the demographic who believed that a one-third pound hamburger would be smaller than a one-quarter pound hamburger.

Possibly, because the militant right is itching for an incident to spark a hot civil war.

Because once the militant right started carrying off some their own, they would cower and cry victim. They like their targets unarmed and innocent, not able to fight back.

The word radical has officially been elevated to a new meaning.

I fully expect the new Congress to waste half their time trying to eliminate the ATF, NEA, EPA, and of course Obamacare.

*Mass shooting is defined as any in which four or more are dead or wounded, inckuding the gunman.

Those totals include the two mass shootings so far this month.

Aspen - 78% D

Durango - 58% D

Pueblo - 49% D (48% R)

Grand Junction - 35% D (63% R)

For what its worth, Grand Junction is trending slightly from red to blue.

Aspen is one of the richest cities in the state and Pueblo is one of the poorest. These four cities are spread all over the place. Grand Junction out west almost on the Utah border, Aspen in the mountains, Durango far south toward the four corners area, Pueblo clear to the south east. I have no idea how they decided to allocate this district.

But America’s gun super-owners, have amassed huge collections. Just 3% of American adults own a collective 133m firearms – half of America’s total gun stock. These owners have collections that range from eight to 140 guns, the 2015 study found. Their average collection: 17 guns each.

But surveys show that gun ownership in America is actually highly concentrated. Only 22 to 31% of Americans adults say they personally own a gun

I think everybody should work in Congress wearing come-hither cocktail party outfits!

Like that one-shoulder thing I’ve got goin’ on?

That is VERY inappropriate attire for a serving Member of Congress. Unless she’s at some cocktail party. But NOT on the job IN the United States House of Representatives. Some decorum, PLEASE, girlfriend.
