Warning terrible punctuation ahead in rant if easily aggravated by bad punctuation you been warned I dont wanna hear it , i am dyslexic and flying on two Turkish coffees.
If bullshit was music the repigs would be a brass band playing at the next trumpig insurrection instead of destroying our madisonian democracy
To remove Rep Omar on the grounds of antisemitism from a party that associates with oath keepers proud boys. Fine people on both sides Jews will not replace us their orange messiah dines with antisemites the hypocrisy.
I know i am preaching to the choir here yet remember by 2028 -2030 The republicans know that millennials and Gen Z will be huge in elections and these youngsters do not buy into the republicans hate and drama and we are seeing their desperation to stay in power.
Fuck these traitors.

(16,784 posts)will backfire on Kevin McCarthy BIG TIME. He has NO idea as to what he has unleashed.
For they have been put into the position to tell the truth about the House GOP, name names to the Press, continue to expose the HYPOCRISY coming from the likes of Boobert, Greene, Gosar, Perry, Stefanick, and McCarthy himself. These 3 brave Democrats have been elevated to assist in other House races where Republicans gained seats in Districts that went heavily for Joe Biden in 2020.
Revenge will be sweet and painful. The lack of an agenda to Govern on the part of the House Republicans will be put on notice. Joe Biden has been given the opportunity to use his bully pulpit to inflict pain on McCarthy. No more playing nice. It's Hardball from now on.

(58,785 posts)she's no longer "vice chair of the Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organizations and the Subcommittee on International Development, International Organizations and Global Corporate Social Impact of the Foreign Affairs Committee."
At least until 2025 when enough citizens decide they've had enough and give Democrats the majority.
In the meantime, she will serve (copied from her website):
I wonder if the Democratic leaders will be able to get her assigned to any other committee.
Also:
She is a member of the LGBT Equality Caucus, Congressional Black Caucus, Women's Caucus, Pro-Choice Caucus, Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, Diabetes Caucus, CBC Taskforce on Black Youth Suicide and Mental Health, Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, Black Maternal Health Caucus, New Americans Caucus, Quiet Skies Caucus, Refugee Caucus, United for Climate and Environmental Justice Congressional Task Force, Unexploded Ordance/Demining Caucus, Public Works and Infrastructure Caucus, Bike Caucus, Black Jewish Caucus, Friends of Norway Caucus, Friends of Sweden Caucus, Hockey Caucus, International Workers Rights Caucus, Labor and Working Families Caucus, Mississippi River Caucus, Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition, the Career and Technical Education Caucus, Armenian Caucus, Mental Health Caucus, Hunger Caucus, Voting Rights Caucus, Homelessness Caucus, Small Business Caucus, International Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Caucus, Defense Spending Reduction Caucus, Friends of a Free, Stable and Democratic Syria Caucus, the Future of Transportation Caucus, Congressional Labor Caucus, and the ALS Caucus.
(!) No doubt she's not been active on a lot of these, but changes in situation create new opportunities.

(17,984 posts)On the Judiciary committee. Republicans can not stop that.
Do not forget Cheney and Kinzinger. Both gave up their political seats for decency and caring about our Constitution.

(58,785 posts)Like you, I don't forget Cheney and Kinzinger. There's huge power outside elective office, and a lot of the people wielding it can't and won't go where the conservative party now is. They'll be part of that, especially her I'd think.
